Ağsulu riyaziyyatçı Arif Səlimov

Səlimov Arif Ağacan oğlu Azərbaycan riyaziyyatçısı, fizika-riyaziyyat elmləri doktoru, professor, Azərbaycanın əməkdar elm xadimi, Türkiyənin TÜBİTAK mükafatı laureatıdır. O, 1956-cı ildə Ağsu şəhərində anadan olmuşdur. 1973-cü ildə Ağsu şəhər 1 saylı orta məktəbi bitirmiş və 1973-1978-ci illərdə Bakı Dövlət Universitetinin mexanika-riyaziyyat fakültəsinin tələbəsi olmuşdur. 1978-1980-ci illərdə AMEA-nın Kibernetika İnstitutunda mühəndis-riyaziyyatçı kimi çalışmış, 1980-1983-cü illərdə isə Rusiyanın Kazan Dövlət Universitetinin əyani aspiranturasında "həndəsə və topologiya" ixtisası üzrə təhsil almışdır. 1984-cü ilin yanvar ayında Kazan şəhərində məşhur sovet həndəsə alimi V.V.Vişnevskinin elmi rəhbərliyi altında namizədlik dissertasiyasını müdafiə etmişdir. 1983-1999-cı illərdə Bakı Dövlət Universitetinin həndəsə kafedrasında müxtəlif vəzifələrdə çalışmışdır. 1998-ci ilin sentyabr ayında Kazan Dövlət Universitetində "həndəsə və topologiya" ixtisası üzrə doktorluq dissertasıyasını müdafiə etmişdir. Arif Səlimov Azərbaycanda "həndəsə və topologiya" ixtisası üzrə doktorluq elmi dərəcəsinə sahib olan yeganə elm adamıdır. 2017-ci ildən Bakı Dövlət Universitetinin "Cəbr və Həndəsə" kafedrasının müdiri vəzifəsində çalışır. Evlidir, 2 övladı var.

Tenzor operatorlar nəzəriyyəsində aldığı fundamental nəticələr və lift nəzəriyyəsində yaratdığı yeni metod ilə diferensial həndəsə sahəsində dünyada tanınmış mütəxəssisdir. 14 tələbəsi riyaziyyat (həndəsə) üzrə fəlsəfə doktorluğu dissertasiyası müdafiə etmişdir. 50-dən çox beynəlxalq konfranslarda elmi məruzələrlə çıxış etmişdir. 100-dən çox elmi əsəri vardır. Bunlardan 55-i ABŞ, Yaponiya, Cənubi Koreya, Çin, Hindistan, Sinqapur, Meksika, Rusiya, İngiltərə, Fransa, İtaliya, Hollandiya, Polşa, Türkiyə və s. ölkələrin SCI-Exp (Clarivate Analytics) indeksli nüfuzlu elmi jurnallarında çap olunmuşdur. Arif Səlimovun "Tensor operators and their applications" adlı kitab-monoqrafiyası ABŞ-ın nüfuzlu "Nova Science Publishers, Inc., New York" elm nəşriyyatının "Mathematics Research Developments" seriyasında çap edilib. O, 1995-2017-ci illərdə Türkiyənin Atatürk Universitetində müqavilə ilə professor vəzifəsində çalışmışdır.

Layihə rəhbəri olduğu 4 layihəsi (TBAG-105T551, TBAG-108T590, MFAG-112T111, MFAG-116F230) Türkiyə Dövlətinin Elmi və Texnoloji Tədqiqatlar Komitəsinin (TÜBİTAK-ın) qrantlarını almışdır. Onun “Tensor operators and their applications” adlı kitabı 2013-ci ildə Türkiyədə “AÜ Bilimsel Teşvik Birincilik Ödülü” mükafatına layiq görülmüşdir. Arif Səlimov 2015-ci ildə Türkiyə Dövlətinin elm sahəsində ən prestijli mükafatlarından biri olan “TÜBİTAK PPÖ-Proje Performans Ödülü”nə layiq görülmüşdür. 2016-cı ildə isə Arif Səlimov Atatürk Universitetinin "Sıtkı Alp Bilimsel Teşvik Ödülü"nü də almışdır. 2019-cu ildə Arif Səlimov Azərbaycanın "Əməkdar Elm Xadimi" adına layiq görülmüşdür.
